Learn some key skills:
Water bottle grabbing and eating while moving
How to get comfortable in aero, passing and legally drafting (12m)
How to ascend/switch gears and descend with confidence
Optional: tire changing demo and practice to follow
Self supported run to follow at your own pace

Muskoka Training Day!

Get ready for Muskoka 70.3 with a big training day!
Description:
Meet at 9:30am for an optional short swim or at 10am for a short safety chat and general overview of the course. Then get to ride the Muskoka 70.3 course with friends! The ride will be fully supported with water, snacks at the 23km and 67km mark. The turnaround will be marked with route arrows. Then run on the Muskoka 70.3 course!
Ability:
This is not a learn to ride event. You should be comfortable riding on the road and be able to hold a speed of about 23km/hr to get the most out of this training day.
Equipment:
Bike (Road or triathlon bikes are recommended), helmet, cycling gear, water bottles, nutrition, bike computer, HR monitor and everything you need to ride safely and comfortably.

Sunday, June 30 and July 21, 2024 at 8am
Jack Darling Memorial Park (1180 Lakeshore Rd, L5H 1A1)
Get ready for your races with group open water swim sessions!
Each swim session includes:
15 min for drills and skills (including OW skills like sighting and drafting, starts)
45-60 minute main set catered to your own ability
Ability: Should be able to swim 400m continuously in the pool and 100m in the open water
Self supported run to follow at your own pace
Route will be provided
Jack Darling Memorial Park (1180 Lakeshore Rd, L5H 1A1)
Get ready for your races with group open water swim sessions!
